The Carpenters Arms Miserden

Have you been searching for a traditional pub in the Cotswolds? Come to The Carpenters Arms, today. We have 26 years of experience in the industry and work hard to make your experience with us an enjoyable and pleasant one.

We're based in Miserden Estate in the Cotswolds and welcome  all to The Carpenters Arms.

We source all our produce locally, beef from sheepscomb, lamb from miserden, Pork from Sapperton all other meats locally from local suppliers.

We also have a very large pub kitchen garden and grow much of our own vegeatbles ourselves as you can now see from the pictures in the gallery

our eggs are organic and free range

All of the fresh produce comes from within a 40 mile radius and our menus are excellent.

The Carpenters Arms is a traditional 17th century Cotswold pub, set in the picturesque village of Miserden nr Stroud. Originally a carpenters shop, but changed to a pub around 100years ago retaining its traditional Cotswold look boasting a 5 foot ingle look open fire place, oak beams and pictures of Miserden on the walls.

A warm welcome always awaits you to an atmosphere where you can simply sit and have a relaxing drink from a selection of our real ales, eight ciders and excellent wines.

Or you can  choose to have a meal from our menu. The menu offers three starter choices, Five main courses,  four or five vegetarian choices not forgetting eight homemade pudding choices to finish off.

All meals are cooked and prepared on the premises and ingredients are sourced from local producers where possible. Sunday roasts are available from twelve noon untill seven in the evening.

We are a dog and children friendly establishment, so please feel free to bring your pooch or your little ones with you!

The village and the Carpenters Arms  were last used as the film set for the new production of Lauree Lee's

"A cider with Rosie" in 2016

This is still available to watch on I player, it features Timothy Spall and Samatha morton

The pub was chosen for the film because of its traditional untouched and unspoilt traditional cotswold village looks
